Yummo Strawberries!!

If you have never tried these....then you better run, run, RUN to the store and get these ingredients NOW!!

you will need:
Strawberries (cleaned and hollow out)
Cream cheese
Powdered sugar
Vanilla flavoring

I like to clean my fruit in water and a splash of white vinegar!

Cream together cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla and put in pastry bag with a star tip! I really don't measure out the ingredients. I like less sweet so I don't use to much powder sugar, so go by your taste!

Cut off bottom of strawberries so they stand up on plate and pipe in filling!

So Yummy!!

I made these for my gals on my team and they were GONE!!
Enjoy!!

Have a blessed day!

Master Bedroom Tour

Master Bedroom Tour

Hi Everyone!!
Today I thought I would share our Master bedroom with you all.
I don't know about you but I just LOVE going into model homes to get decorating ideas and then trying to apply it to my home!

My sister in law gave me these two old windows so I put them up on the wall. I think it turned out cute.

My pallet wood creation
There are still things that I want to do to add a little more character to the room, but as far as decor it's pretty much done!

Thanks for letting me share!!
Have a blessed day

Pantry Organization

The Pantry
is one of those closets
that I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with
in addition to the LAUNDRY room...(that's another post:)
I clean it ..then things just happen to get thrown in there....I clean it...yada..yada..yada!

So I'm back at it and I'm thrilled that it looks nice and organized!! My son says
NOW THERE'S ROOM TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK!!

 Here is a before picture
Scary :0
I pulled everything out and got rid of everything I no longer used and any food that was expired.

put things away that didn't belong there in the first place and placed everything back on shelves.
Here's the AFTER

I put all the appliances on the top shelf that I don't use very often.
The blue bins came from the dollar store.
Most of my canned food is tomato sauce, chicken broth, chicken and tuna and mac and cheese, so that's what I labelled these bins with.
Here is the other side

I think I need to go shopping now cause it looks like we have no food! Ha,Ha!!
Thanks for letting me share.. What do you use to organize your pantry?

Have a blessed day!

Guest Room in progress!!

When we moved into our home 5 years ago, I was so happy that I would have an extra room to make into a guest room, except it never was one. It has been a junk room (you know like companies coming, just throw it in the junk room and shut the door kinda room.) and a homeschooling room. I have three kiddos and when my third child started 1st grade, we were squished!! So know we FINALLY get to have our guest room!! It is still in progress but I wanted to share with you all what I have so far.

This room is pretty small so a bed and side table is about it. I'm going to make, I mean, I'm going to have my hubby make a pallet wood head board and top it off with my brothers old fireplace mantel! I think it will be beautiful. Bed spread and pillows came from Bed, Bath and Beyond!

The side table is just an old wicker table I had with some Hobby Lobby knick knacks! I love that store:)

All I need now is some additional wall decor and it will be complete. I am looking forward to sharing when it is all done! Until then...

Have a blessed day!

Quick Tip/Meal Planning

Hi Everyone!! Today I have a quick little tip that has helped my family with meal planning. This actually came from a friend who is awesome in budgeting and stretching meals!!!

We did a Costco run today and bought organic meat. If your not familiar it comes like this
I simply cut the ground beef in half to stretch to 6 and put them in little baggies to freeze!
Bought these cute little baskets at the dollar store......
All pretty and organized in the basket and in the freezer they go...
So now instead of 3 meals, I have 6 ready to go for meals. So simple, but I never thought of it ;)!

Have a blessed day!

I am sooo excited to start my new blog!! Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Kristine and I am currently a stay at home, homeschooling mom to my 3 children- Antonia, Alexandria and Nicholas (13, 12, and 7 yrs.old). I have been married for 23 years to a wonderful husband and father!!

I love to entertain my family and friends (I have the gift of Hospitality!!) and love to decorate my home! I'm also on a weight loss journey to gain health and wellness.

Starting this blog is truly an adventure for me. I want to state that I am not a writer, and that English was my worst subject in school. Lol!! I type how I talk:)

I'm looking forward to sharing my tips with you, which are things that have worked for me personally, and of course learning as I go.
